Positive Pay System for Cheque Truncation System (CTS)
Dear Customer, we are pleased to inform you that with effect from January 1st, 2021 we shall be launching the “Positive Pay System” for Cheque clearing within the Cheque Truncation System (CTS), as per the guidelines issued by Reserve Bank of India, and National Payments Corporation of India. With effect from June  01st, 2020, interest rate applicable on savings account balances will be revised to 2.50% p.a. Please contact your Branch for any queries or clarification.

NEFT Timings

The NEFT transaction facility shall be available on our Online Channels 24x7 on all days. Outward NEFT transactions approved between 12:30 AM and 10:00 PM shall be settled on the same day. Inward NEFT transactions shall be settled on same day.

RTGS Timings

The RTGS transaction facility shall be available on our Online Channels 24x7 on all days. Outward RTGS transactions approved between 12:30 AM and 10:00 PM shall be settled on the same day. Inward RTGS transactions shall be settled on same day.
Discontinuation of Facsimile Transmission of Communication for Manual Payments
After careful consideration and in response to the evolving communication landscape, we have decided to discontinue our facsimile transmission of communication channel for manual payment requests i.e. RTGS, NEFT, Internal Funds Transfer, Issuance of Demand Drafts and Payorders at Barclays Bank PLC in India. This decision is in line with our commitment to providing you with more efficient and secure ways to interact with the Bank. Effective 1st May 2024, we will no longer be able to send or receive facsimile communication. To continue serving you effectively, we encourage you to explore our alternative communication channels, including online banking and email. Should you have any query regarding this change, please do not hesitate to contact our branches.
